Join your neighbors for our bi-monthly Community Meeting in March where we’ll be discussing Santa Venetia Safety including:
Flooding:
1) summary of causes of flooding
2) key findings of the survey in Santa Venetia about flooding concerns, support for the floodwall and willingness to pay
3) updates on status of the proposed floodwall project
CERT (Community Emergency Response Team:
1) update on CERT activities
2) results of the emergency response survey to date
3) neighborhood response issues
Let’s show up to join in the discussion and play a part in finding solutions.
*** Neighbor Erica Iacovoni has stepped up to help us incorporate Zoom to our in-person meetings. This will be our first attempt so we can’t promise it will work, but If you are not able to attend in person and didn’t get the Zoom link, email SVNA@santavenetia.org to request.

June = Summer Fun: Marin County Fair & JCC & TBA

We haven’t gotten the meeting tied down yet, but we are hoping, as in prior years, to welcome Marin County Cultural Services to tell us about the upcoming Marin County Fair and provide free tickets to one lucky winner of our door raffle. Also, we will invite the Marin JCC to join us for a presentation and hope to have someone from WildCare and/or Friends of China Camp attend. More in the next newsletter!
